Montgomery County Schools decided to close early today, therefore the GISW is running on Plan C.

Vocaldente on Stage at GISW
On February 6th, 2018 the well-known German a cappella group 鈥淰ocaldente鈥� visited the 海角原创 for a second time.
The five singers are currently on tour in the U.S. and paid a visit to our school in between their performance at the German Embassy in Washington and their next stop in Chicago. They conducted a workshop and gave a dazzling performance on stage.
In the workshop for our music and theater program students, the singers showcased their vocal abilities and taught students how to mimic instruments with their voices, demonstrating that even men can hit the highest of notes. On top of showcasing these impressive skills, they also performed a few samples of beatboxing and rap. Afterwards the students practiced imitating the banjo, fiddle, and drums with their voices and got to interview the members of Vocaldente.
The true highlight of the visit was the group鈥檚 sensational concert on stage for all middle and high school students, teachers, and staff, which was rewarded with a standing ovation.
