Montgomery County Schools decided to close early today, therefore the GISW is running on Plan C.
- Classes end at 1:45 pm.
- Lunch Break takes place in accordance with the regular schedule
- Buses leave school at 1:55 pm only and follow the
- Afternoon Program and Extended Care are cancelled.
- All afternoon and evening events are cancelled.

Thank you to the Parent Council鈥檚 Event Committee
During the Parent Council鈥檚 Conference on December 4th, 2019 the Elementary School was given a check in the amount of $2.685 by the new Parent Council鈥檚 Event Committee - the proceeds of two fundraising events that the committee had organized recently. Both events, the bake sale and the raffle of gift baskets and children鈥檚 activities, were very successful thanks to the generous support by our GISW parents. The generous donations will be used to continue the expansion of our Elementary School playground.
