Montgomery County Schools decided to close early today, therefore the GISW is running on Plan C.
- Classes end at 1:45 pm.
- Lunch Break takes place in accordance with the regular schedule
- Buses leave school at 1:55 pm only and follow the
- Afternoon Program and Extended Care are cancelled.
- All afternoon and evening events are cancelled.

SMV Gift Drive
The Student Council (SMV) Gift Drive Committee, consisting of Natalie P. and Theresa Sh. did a great job organizing our annual Gift Drive. Last Friday, the gifts were delivered to "JoAnn Leleck Elementary School at Broad Acres" for them to hand over this week to families in financial need within their school community. Parent representatives from grades 5 through 12 strongly supported the SMV in this effort. The funds came from the class accounts and parent volunteers made the gift purchases and delivered them to the school in Silver Spring. We would like to express our sincere thanks to the SMV committee, the parents and the involved staff at JoAnn Leleck Elementary School, Andrea Barrera and Freddy Climaco.
