Montgomery County Schools decided to close early today, therefore the GISW is running on Plan C.
- Classes end at 1:45 pm.
- Lunch Break takes place in accordance with the regular schedule
- Buses leave school at 1:55 pm only and follow the
- Afternoon Program and Extended Care are cancelled.
- All afternoon and evening events are cancelled.

Shoe Drive
Dear GISW Community,
THANK YOU for your overwhelming response to the shoe collection drive! With your generous donations, we collected over 350 pairs of shoes at the GISW!
The benefits of the shoe drive are three-fold:
- shoes are kept out of landfills, preventing hazardous chemical contamination;
- shoes create micro-enterprises (small businesses) in developing countries, providing opportunities for impoverished families to earn a living;
- and every pair of shoes earns funds for Rukundo International programs.
The combined effect of your donated shoes was a definite WIN!
