Montgomery County Schools decided to close early today, therefore the GISW is running on Plan C.
- Classes end at 1:45 pm.
- Lunch Break takes place in accordance with the regular schedule
- Buses leave school at 1:55 pm only and follow the
- Afternoon Program and Extended Care are cancelled.
- All afternoon and evening events are cancelled.

Preschool: End of School Year Remarks
Dear Children, dear Parents!
The countdown has started鈥e have once again completed a joyful school year during which we have gotten to know your children very well and became very fond of all of them. In that time we implemented new ideas and projects.
In the summer of 2016, we started off with a lot of energy and zest. The year began with many new faces entering the Preschool for the first time. The children became comfortable in their new environment, adjusted to being separated from their parents in the morning and quickly formed new friendships in their classrooms. We sang, danced, laughed, learned, listened and played together. The cooperation and collaboration between teachers and parents was very good and very helpful.
I would like to thank the parents for their initiative and support throughout this Preschool year. Without the participation of our volunteers, our programs could not have run as smoothly and harmoniously as they did. Thank you all very much! I also would like to express a very special thanks to all of our parent representatives and our volunteers for helping us in the Preschool library, cafeteria, on field trips, with the Thanksgiving brunch, Christmas Arts and Crafts, Easter egg hunt and many other projects.
I wish you all a wonderful summer full of sun, friends, family, and good memories whether they will be in the USA or elsewhere. We look forwardto welcoming you back in the next school year.
