Montgomery County Schools decided to close early today, therefore the GISW is running on Plan C.
- Classes end at 1:45 pm.
- Lunch Break takes place in accordance with the regular schedule
- Buses leave school at 1:55 pm only and follow the
- Afternoon Program and Extended Care are cancelled.
- All afternoon and evening events are cancelled.

Picture Day - October 7, 2016
SECOND PICTURE DAY IS COMING UP SOON:
ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2016, 8:15am to 2:30pm
Pictures will be taken of:
- Preschool, individual pictures,
- Preschool, group pictures,
- SEL and Elementary School, group pictures,
- ALL students, teachers and staff members of the German School who did not have their picture taken on the first Picture Day OR need to have another picture taken. In this case, we would like to ask parents to remind their children and to supply them with their first picture. A picture can only be retaken in exchange for the original. Students of the Elementary School (SEL through grade 4) will be brought to the photographer by a teacher.
NEW: For the first time, Preschool pictures and group pictures can only be ordered online, flyers explaining how to do that have been distributed to the students.
