Montgomery County Schools decided to close early today, therefore the GISW is running on Plan C.
- Classes end at 1:45 pm.
- Lunch Break takes place in accordance with the regular schedule
- Buses leave school at 1:55 pm only and follow the
- Afternoon Program and Extended Care are cancelled.
- All afternoon and evening events are cancelled.

News about one of our Alumni
Our Deputy Chair of the Board of Directors, Dagmar Tawil, was invited to Savannah Georgia to the wedding of one of our former students: Linda Keuper. Linda graduated from our school in 2012 and went to Germany to study at the University of Heidelberg. Last year, she graduated with a Masters in Molecular Biotechnology.
In 2016, Linda and Andrew Macpherson whom she met during her school days in Potomac got engaged. He graduated from the Naval Academy in Annapolis in 2014 and has since been a Lieutenant on a U.S. nuclear submarine.
We congratulate whole-heartedly and send only the best wishes to the young couple for their joint future!
