Montgomery County Schools decided to close early today, therefore the GISW is running on Plan C.
- Classes end at 1:45 pm.
- Lunch Break takes place in accordance with the regular schedule
- Buses leave school at 1:55 pm only and follow the

Memorial Day Parade 2017
On May 29th, 2017, the German School Washington D.C. participated in Rockville鈥檚 Memorial Day Parade. This group, dressed in fisher shirts and neckties, was organized by Mr. Jessen-Klingenberg under the motto: 鈥濶ot all Germans wear Lederhosen and Dirndl鈥�.
A big Thank-You goes to the Friends of the German School for partially sponsoring the purchase of shirts and neckties.
