Montgomery County Schools decided to close early today, therefore the GISW is running on Plan C.

- Classes end at 1:45 pm.
- Lunch Break takes place in accordance with the regular schedule
- Buses leave school at 1:55 pm only and follow the
- Afternoon Program and Extended Care are cancelled.
- All afternoon and evening events are cancelled.

Nachdem Montgomery County heute ein vorzeitiges Unterrichtsende beschlossen hat gilt an der GISW Plan C.

- Der Unterricht endet um 13:45 Uhr.

May 6, 2022: Opening of Art Exhibit

Dear Parents of GISW Art Students,

The Art Department is planning its fifth annual upper school art show (5th 鈥� 12th grades) on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 6 PM to 8 PM. Student-made artwork will be displayed, and we would love to see you there with your child!

Your children have invested much time and effort creating these beautiful works of art.  We will celebrate their achievements by creating a traditional art opening atmosphere.  Therefore, we are asking all attendees to contribute finger food (one item per family) to share at the event. Cheese and crackers, cookies, veggies and dip, or a fruit platter are all possibilities.  Drinks will be provided.

Please have your child bring his or her food contribution to school on Friday, May 6th.  We will have access to a refrigerator.  Please label all containers and serving plates with your child鈥檚 first and last name so they may be easily returned.
