Montgomery County Schools decided to close early today, therefore the GISW is running on Plan C.
- Classes end at 1:45 pm.
- Lunch Break takes place in accordance with the regular schedule
- Buses leave school at 1:55 pm only and follow the
- Afternoon Program and Extended Care are cancelled.
- All afternoon and evening events are cancelled.

5K Oktoberfest Run & Fun Run 2016
The 2016 DSW 5K Oktoberfest Run & Fun Run was a great success: Fitness with a German twist. A short downpour did not dampen the enthusiasm of the participants, their families, and friends. Thanks to all the volunteers for making this annual event so enjoyable and memorable. We are fortunate to have such a committed and reliable school community! We would also like to thank our sponsors for making this event possible: Audi, Paramount, Capitol Maintenance, Brauns International, Condor, Lufthansa, Mars, Schlobohm Dental, IMS, D枚ner Bistro, Drink More Water, Road Runner Sports and Schlossbrauerei! According to first calculations, the event raised over $15.0000 which will be used to beautify the German School entrance.
