FuFis on 鈥濻afari鈥� at the Museum
During the 3rd unit 鈥淔ield Biology鈥� of FuF (F枚rder- und Forderunterricht), the students of the 5th and 6th grades went on a "safari" to the Serengeti National Park. The FuFis dealt with vertebrates of the African savannah and learned how they are adapted to their environment. On March 7th, 2018 we visited the National Museum of Natural History with Mr. Endenich in Geography. We took a closer look at the animals exhibited in The Hall of Mammals, especially the ones living on the African savannah.

The excursion to the National Museum of Natural History on March 07, 2018
Today we, the children of the NaWi-FuF class, went to the National Museum of Natural History in Washington. There was a lot to see and to learn. In the department of mammals there were many that live in Africa. This was perfect for the topic that we are currently discussing in FuF. In another section of the museum there were skeletons of the same animals that we had discussed beforehand in our FuF class. We found a lot of interesting information about them. We had a lot of fun and so can you; you should visit the National Museum of Natural History.
