Montgomery County Schools decided to close early today, therefore the GISW is running on Plan C.
- Classes end at 1:45 pm.
- Lunch Break takes place in accordance with the regular schedule
- Buses leave school at 1:55 pm only and follow the
- Afternoon Program and Extended Care are cancelled.
- All afternoon and evening events are cancelled.

FRIENDS: Membership Meeting - Become a Member!
The Board of the FRIENDS would like to thank the more than 130 volunteers who made this Christmas Market another successful event. The Christmas Market has been a huge success thanks to our volunteers, visitors and the school community. However, the organization and execution of the German Christmas Market has been managed by a small group of FRIENDS Board Members. In order to have another successful Christmas Market and support many projects for the students of the GISW in the future, we need new members.
If you would like to be an active part of the school community and contribute to projects for the benefit of all GISW students, please join the FRIENDS today. And please join our next membership meeting on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 7pmto be candidate for the board or to elect new members of the board.
