Montgomery County Schools decided to close early today, therefore the GISW is running on Plan C.
- Classes end at 1:45 pm.
- Lunch Break takes place in accordance with the regular schedule
- Buses leave school at 1:55 pm only and follow the
- Afternoon Program and Extended Care are cancelled.
- All afternoon and evening events are cancelled.

5k Oktoberfest Run & Fun Run 2017: RACE RESULTS & MORE
That's a wrap! Thank you to our volunteers, sponsors, and all the runners and spectators who participated in Saturday鈥檚 5k Oktoberfest Run & Fun Run.
The day would not have been possible without the help of all our amazing volunteers! More than 100 community members played an integral role in making the event a success. We would also like to thank Volkswagen, our Platinum Sponsor, along with Paramount Transportation, Capitol Maintenance, Condor, Mars, and dentist Dr. Schlobohm for their generous financial contributions.
The 2017 5k Oktoberfest Run & Fun Run was our biggest race yet, with more than 359 runners in the 5k and close to a hundred Fun Run participants!
