Liebe Eltern und Erziehungsberechtigte,
aufgrund der aktuellen Wetterwarnung in unserer Region und im Interesse der Sicherheit aller Sch眉lerinnen und Sch眉ler sowie Mitarbeitenden beenden wir den Unterricht und das Kindergartenprogramm heute vorzeitig um 12:55 Uhr. Die Schulbusse werden das Schulgel盲nde um 13:05 Uhr verlassen.
Um eine ungef盲hre Ankunftszeit an Ihrer Haltestelle zu ermitteln, bitten wir Sie, sich an den Zeiten der regul盲ren Busroute zu orientieren.
Wenn Ihr Kind nicht mit dem Bus f盲hrt, holen Sie es bitte um 12:55 Uhr ab.
Sollte sich die Wettersituation so entwickeln, dass es erforderlich ist, werden wir selbstverst盲ndlich alle Sch眉lerinnen und Sch眉ler sicher in den Geb盲uden behalten und Schutz im Geb盲ude gew盲hrleisten, bis eine sichere Situation gegeben ist.
Falls Sie aufgrund von Verkehr oder Wetter nicht genau um 12:55 Uhr zur Abholung eintreffen k枚nnen, werden wir die Kinder weiterhin in den jeweiligen Geb盲uden 鈥� Preschool, Elementary School und im Hauptgeb盲ude 鈥� betreuen und im Geb盲ude lassen, bis Sie sicher an der Schule angekommen sind, um Ihr Kind abzuholen.
Bitte fahren Sie vorsichtig, versuchen Sie jedoch so zeitnah wie m枚glich zur Schule zu kommen, da wir bem眉ht sind, die Geb盲ude f眉r die Sicherheit aller Beteiligten so bald wie m枚glich nach 12:55 Uhr zu leeren.
Sollte es zu Verz枚gerungen bei der Abfahrt der Schulbusse kommen, werden wir Sie selbstverst盲ndlich umgehend mit einem weiteren Update informieren.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Due to the severe weather alert in our region, and in the interest of the safety of all students and staff, classes and the preschool program will end early today at 12:55 pm. School buses will depart campus at 1:05 pm.
To estimate the approximate arrival time at your bus stop, please refer to the times listed on the regular bus route schedule.
If your child does not ride the bus please pick them up at 12:55pm.
If the situation warrants it, we will certainly keep all students safely sheltered inside the buildings and ensure everyone remains safe until conditions allow otherwise.
If you happen to be delayed in traffic or by the weather and cannot arrive exactly at 12:55 pm for pickup, students will remain inside their respective buildings - Preschool, Elementary School, and the Main Building - and will be supervised until you arrive safely to pick up your child.
Please drive carefully and do your best to be on time, as we are for everyone鈥檚 safety hoping to have the buildings cleared as soon as possible after 12:55 pm.
If bus departures are delayed, we will certainly provide another update promptly.

Ausflug zum American Visionary Art Museum - Sch眉lerberichte
Der Ausflug war sehr toll! Die Klassen 3a und 3b sind nach Baltimore zum Visionary Art Museum mit dem Bus gefahren. Als wir dort angekommen waren, sahen wir gleich ein gro脽es glitzerndes Museumsgeb盲ude. Im Museum sahen wir moderne Kunst aus Brot, Glas, Eiern und S眉脽igkeiten. Es gab auch drau脽en Kunstwerke, wie zum Beispiel einen Bus, der aussah, als wenn er aus Diamanten gemacht w盲re. Dort gab es auch eine Windm眉hle, die aus altem Abfall gebaut worden war. Wir sahen dort auch ein Haus, an dem ein gro脽es Vogelnest hing. Unter dem Vogelnest gab es einen riesigen Vogel. Im Geb盲ude stand ein gro脽er flauschiger rosa Hund auf einem Dreirad. Unter dem Tier gab es zwei Sitze, auf die man sich setzen kann. Jedes Jahr gibt es ein Rennen f眉r all Dreir盲der des Museums. Da m眉ssen die Dreir盲der durch Wasser, Matsch und Sand fahren. Das ist alles ziemlich verr眉ckt!!!

The American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore was amazing. When we arrived, we saw a school bus outside of the museum that was covered with colorful glass, colorful tiles, and bits of mirrors. There were also a couple of cool sculptures like a giant whirligig that was about the size of a telephone pole, a jungle gym made out of wood, and a large egg that was about the size of a door. When we went inside, I was excited to see what other sculptures they had. First, we tried kinetic sculptures that we could move by turning a dial or pushing buttons. Then we looked at a life-sized car covered in Baltimore blue glass. We also saw the famous giant pink poodle sculpture on wheels called 鈥淔ifi鈥� that is sometimes used in parades. One sculpture was made out of colored paper plates that were shaped to look like ants, bees, and vegetables. If you pushed a button, the sculpture would turn. Next, we saw several sculptures made out of different kinds of bread. My favorite sculpture was a chef and a chicken made out of different colors of Peeps. I liked the museum because they had very creative sculptures and I had fun looking at the artwork.

On Thursday 2.2.2017, grades 3a and 3b went to the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore. We drove with the school bus.
When we arrived, we saw a school bus decorated with blue glass and other things. This was because there was a blue glass factory that closed and gave the rest of their glass to the Museum.
When we went inside we saw a giant pink poodle made of nylon material. Its name was Fifi. Each year Fifi races around Baltimore through streets mud and water. Back then, the people had farting contests. They practiced for it. For example they ate a lot of beans and practiced farting. In the Museum was a machine that had 40 best farts.
Everybody had a lot of fun!
