Montgomery County Schools decided to close early today, therefore the GISW is running on Plan C.
- Classes end at 1:45 pm.
- Lunch Break takes place in accordance with the regular schedule

Math Olympics
Eleven of our students have already participated in the third round of the International Mathematical Olympics, which took place over two days on Tuesday, February 13 and Monday, February 26, 2018. On both days, the students were tasked with solving mathematical assignments without auxiliary devices in two five-hour exams.
The eleven participants had moved up into this state level (鈥淟andesrunde鈥�) after competing for two rounds in a group of 33 for the 鈥濴andesrunde 鈥�. From grade 9 on, 5 Students who submit the best work out of all the German Schools Abroad, may be invited to the federal finals, the 鈥淏undesfinale鈥�. Let鈥檚 keep our fingers crossed that that one of our own will be among them!
