Montgomery County Schools decided to close early today, therefore the GISW is running on Plan C.
- Classes end at 1:45 pm.
- Lunch Break takes place in accordance with the regular schedule
- Buses leave school at 1:55 pm only and follow the

GISW Alumni Farewell Party
On Thursday, June 17th, GISW welcomed former students to the campus for an informal alumni gathering to say farewell to Acting Head of School Marc Aurel L枚ckmann and Acting Deputy Head of School Rainer Tack, who are both returning to Germany this summer. Alumni from the graduating classes of 2017 through 2021 joined GISW staff members to honor and thank their beloved former teachers for their years of service and dedication to our school. Those attending enjoyed ice-cream and refreshments while reconnecting and reminiscing with friends about their time at GISW. We welcome Marc Aurel L枚ckmann and Rainer Tack into the ever-growing circle of GISW alumni and wish them all the best for the future.
We are planning to hold further fun alumni gatherings during the upcoming school year as GISW celebrates the 60th anniversary of its founding. At this time we invite all alumni from the GISW community (former GISW & 海角原创 students, parents, teachers, staff, and board members) who haven鈥檛 already done so, to complete the so that we can extend invitations to our upcoming 60th anniversary celebrations.
